Blues Night: Morblus
Wednesday 19.11.2014 - 20:00
Caveau du Sommelier, Olten
Those who experienced Big Daddy Wilson at the Caveau immediately know, who Roberto Morbioli is: The virtuoso and likable lead guitar player largely responsible for Big Daddy's Sound. Now he, Roberto, is coming back to Olten bringing along his own band: Morblus. The guys play "American Blues made in Italy" with mediterranian passion and great technical ability on their instruments. Not only Big Daddy was convinced, but other blues veterans such as John Mayall and Robben Ford, whom Morblus accompanied through Europe. They even played the legendary B.B. King's Blues Club in Memphis.
Morblus stands for earthy, rock'n roll-like and even funky blues at times, blowing away the slightest trace of melancholy otherwise associated with the genre.
